My Mane Speaks | Yasss Girl! Big Chop Number 2

My Hair Diary | My Mini Chop From Heat Damage

So I decided to do Big Chop #2 to celebrate my 3rd year of being natural and to cut all the heat damage out! The first time I transitioned, there was literally that ugly stage and I was not going through that again. Besides, I love the TWA look on me. Can you say "fierce and flawless?"

And here comes my mane!

"Sistah-gurl! LOOK AT ME NOW!! I give thanks to ya, sugar. You did me some good cutting off my booty. I just couldn't take that limp and lifeless mess no more. I know'd it bothered you cause your styles were starting to look a little rough, ha! But can I get an 'Amen' for seeking that good-good again?! "AMEN!!"

"I'm just so high over the rainbow and now we can starting that healthy hair journey we always wanted. And sistah! I'm so glad you aren't gonna use that heat-mess on me again. I'd cry and cry everytime you use that on me...and singe my booty! You or those other gals didn't know what they were doing...and that's why there was heat damage"

"But let me tell something to you...I'm very proud of my girl. You know'd I love you and will grow for you. Just give me the same love back. Now give me some sugar and let's get on with this love action!"

Not only am I proud of myself, but I'm proud that now I can get my healthy hair journey going...just the way I want it to.

Natural hair says: continue to learn more about your hair. This is definitely a journey, so there are no easy ways about this. However, don't make this journey hard either. Document notes, take pictures, and read other natural hair journeys. This will inspire you to continue on your own.
