Product Review: OYIN Nourishing Herbal Leave-in Hair Tonic Juices and Berries

I want to do a product review for OYIN Nourishing Herbal Leave-in Hair Tonic Juices and Berries. I did not see many reviews for this product, so I thought I give my own honest opinion...

Product Name:

OYIN Nourishing Herbal Leave-in Hair Tonic Juices and Berries Product Review (Juices and Berries)*

Price and Size:

$13.99/8.4 fl oz (Target)

Product Description:

This fruit-scented oil-free, nourishing herbal leave-in is full of vegetable moisturizers and herbal essences that feed hair and scalp like a salad! Its juicy fruit scent just adds to the freshness.

Package Instructions:

Shake well and spray on dry or damp hair to ease detangling, use a quick spritz to moisturize thirsty locks, twist, or braids, or mist on to refresh "2nd day" coils & curls. In dry weather, spray hair before taking a shower to help thirsty strands drink in the moisture. Go forth and be juicy!

Ingredients:

Aqueous Infusion of: Equisetum Hyemale (Shavegrass) Leaf, Lavandula Officinalis (Lavender) Buds, Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Leaf, Matricaria Recutita (Chamomile) Flower, and Rosa Centifolia (Red Rose) Petals, Linum Usitatissimum (Flax) Seeds (Organic), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Organic), Vegetable Glycerin, Fragrance, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Essence, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Essence, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Citric Acid, and Love!

"An aqueous infusion is a process of combining other ingredients with water in order to infuse them into a formula." (Earth Science Naturals).

My Experience:

Since I have Senegalese twists, I use this as a daily refresher on my scalp and the length of the twists where my hair is at. Then I would use an oil mixture (coconut, jojoba, and sweet almond) to massage my scalp and run along the length of the twists to seal in the moisture and to smooth down the hair. I use this daily, in the morning and before I go to bed.

My Own Thoughts:

First of all, I just want to put this stuff on a piece of cake and eat it! It smells sooooo good...like a citrus-lemon head-air head-skittles kind of smell. So of course, that drew me to buy the Juices and Berries. But once, I do use the mist on my hair, I can definitely feel my scalp and hair being moisturized. I am using this for my Senegalese twists, which only makes the moisturizing process much easier when in a spray bottle. Juices and Berries will definitely stay a staple of mine for refreshing my own natural hair and to put some PI-ZAZZ in my braids. I absolutely love this stuff!

Although, this is a great product, I can make my own DIY spray to moisturize my braids and natural hair. I loved it, but this is not the product for me.

THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT...BUT I WILL NOT PURCHASE AGAIN!

Have you tried Juices and Berries? What did you think about it?

Natural hair says: Juices and Berries is an awesome refresher mist for daily use! But make sure you know what you need for your hair in order for the product to be a staple product.

Always Desire Your Natural,
