Product Review: Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner

I want to do a product review for Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner. I did not see many reviews for this product, so I thought I give my own honest opinion...

Product Name:

Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner Product Review (The Tingle)*

Price and Size:

$3.99/16 oz (Trader Joe's)

Product Description:

We've worked with an upscale boutique to bring you this salon-quality conditioner that will rejuvenate your hair with its refreshing tingle. A blend of certified organic botanicals including peppermint and tea tree work together to moisturize and clarify your hair while alleviating dry scalp.

Package Instructions:

Massage into hair for 3 to 5 minutes. Rinse.

Ingredients:

purified water, tea tree, peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, nettle oil, thyme oil, birch leaf oil, chamomile oil, clary, coltsfoot leaf, yarrow oil, mallow, horsetail oil, soybean protein, cetyl alcohol, tocopheryl, trace minerals, citric acid, sodium hydroxymethylgycinate, grapefruit seed. *all organic*

My Experience:

I used this as a co-wash. I separated my hair in four sections for manageability. Added the Tingle to each section of my hair, while concentrating on my ends. I massaged my scalp while the Tingle was in my hair, then wrapped each section in large Bantu knots. Kept in my hair for 10 minutes then rinsed thoroughly. Moved on to moisturizing and sealing my hair.

My Own Thoughts:

Soooo who is responsible for this stuff?!?! I'm so serious when I say that the past 2 years of my hair journey have been too difficult for no reason! I just eliminated a lot of shampoos and conditioners I would use for my Wash Day and replaced them all with the Tingle! And I just purchased this on a whim!!!

I absolutely love this conditioner! I mean, the smell is so wonderful with the scent of peppermint, which I can't get enough of. The Tingle also gives great slip and an ample amount of moisture to my hair strands without stripping my hair when I co wash with it. I do feel the tingle on my scalp, which feels so good when I massage when it in the shower. The detangling session was not even that long. I mean, the Tingle literally melted my knots and tangles away with out any struggle nor pulling!

The Tingle is definitely packed with rich oils all in it! I mean when it says "tea tree" and "peppermint oil," it actually means it. And you definitely feel it when the product is in your hair. I love that it means what it says. I love that water, peppermint oil, and tea tree oil are at the top of the list. I definitely felt the benefits off the first few ingredients, since I use these in other products I make. And I noticed way less shedding than before when I would detangle or even cleanse my hair with my former shampoo.

My favorite part is that the Tingle is under $4.00!!!! I need to get a crate of this conditioner that comes in 20 bottles to be set for a few months. I'm definitely going to use this for a long, long, long...well forever!

THE TINGLE WILL BE MY CO WASH PRODUCT!

I wish I would have jumped on this earlier, like 2 years earlier. My hair would have been happier for it. I saw so many awesome reviews about the Tingle, but I thought it was another scam and hoax. But I went to Trader Joe's for milk and just got the conditioner for under $4.00, so no loss...but wow! This product is awesome!!!

Soooo seriously you definitely need to get to Trader Joe's and purchase this conditioner (and the shampoo and body wash if you like!) and try it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Oh! And don't purchase online...it's like $9.00 to $22.00 at online stores. Go find a Trader Joe's to purchase this product for under $4.00!!

I'm stocking up!!!!
