I usually use my Alikay Natural Leave In, but I've picked up this Smoothie for CVS during a BOGO 50% sale to try and of course, because of all the raving reviews....

My Experience:
My Own Thoughts:
Now this is a really good product for my fine hair! The scent is very nice and subtle, without being too overbearing...and the scent stays in your hair for days. So I really love that! I do love that this product doesn't break the bank and Shea Moisture tends to have BOGO free/50% off for their products, so I can stock up if I like.
The product label looks pretty good to me...even though the featured products are not in the top five ingredients. However, I am not too upset about that, because it has a lot of certified and organic ingredients in it (Shea butter, coconut oil, mango seed butter, etc.). This product also has protein in it, which is a plus for fine-haired ladies.
And the ultimate of this product is that there is NO mineral oil, NO sulfates, NO animal ingredients, NO fragrances, and NO synthetic colors.

Shea Moisture Coconut And Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie Product Review How To | Twist Out With Dry, Stretched Hair Tutorial |
1). Moisturizes without being greasy
When you first look at the product, it does look a bit greasy...however, it is far from that. It is more of a custard. This definitely makes the hair shiny as well. You can touch your hair without facing the risks of leaving greasy marks on everything you own. However, make sure to use a little bit for styling your hair...or it will be greasy.
2). The hair is so soft
OMG! Sometimes when I use my Alikay Leave-in, my hair would dry out by the end of the day. The Smoothie keeps my hair soft and moisturized for at least 4 days.
I'm not one to have "crisp" edges, because I love my edges free and unbound. However, this can lay the baby hairs down for the entire day! The product is also great for twist outs, flat twists, roller sets, etc. for awesome defined curls. This is a great styling product as well as a moisturizing one.
4). A little goes a long way
Seriously tho! It does not take much to moisturize with the Smoothie. It is pretty thick and very custard-like, so you don't need to coat your hair with it so much...when means the product lasts a long time!
5). Easy to find
The Smoothie is literally at any store (CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Target, etc.). And the pricing ranges between $10-12 for a 12oz jar. So for any product junkies out there, you won't break the bank with this product.
THIS WOULD PURCHASE THIS AGAIN!
Have you tried the Smoothie ? What did you think about it?
