Time for crochet braids again!
I have seen the above picture over and over when looking for big, curly styles. I knew that this would look perfect on me. So I thought, "Why not?" So let's get started!
Hair, Color, And Packs
I am absolutely loving the curls above, so I decided to get the:
Brand: FreeTress
Type: Bohemian Braid
Color: #2 Dark Brown
Price: $5.99/pack (purchased 3 packs)
Prepping Natural Hair
I prepared my hair by doing my wash regimen and also heatless stretched my hair with the African threading method.Once my hair is fully dry, I braided my hair in order to have a side part. The top braids were much smaller than the ones in the back so the part would look natural.

Crochet Braids Process
I did cut the hair in half, but I did not split the hair. This hair resembles a wash n go style, which I wanted to keep the defined curl. I did not want the hair to be too frizzy at the beginning of this install. The crocheting process took 2 1/2 hours to do! I wanted to really take my time to create the big-hair look, which I did pack a lot of hair in the back to lift the hair on top.
I love, love, love my new style!!!

I'm sure I will keep for 3 or 4 weeks. Since this is a "shake and go" style, there is no styling necessary, which is great for me.
