So excited about my protective styles to keep with my goals. ALSO!! The colder months are definitely here. I saw this style and I knew that I just had to do it! So here is my style for the week: Xena: The Chunky Flat Twist Updo.

Inspiration

This style was inspired by Millicent Swift, which her website is Naturally Michy. The Xena looks like an intricate style, but it is so simple to do. I love flat twists styles and knew that I would love to do this on myself.

Regimen And Products

I did my wash regimen and stretched with bantu knots until 90% dry. I used my Smoothie, ApHogee Pro-Vitamin Leave-In Conditioner, and Eco Styler Argan Oil Gel to create this flawless look. This took me 45 minutes to complete.

For the night, I wrap a satin scarf around my hair to keep the twists and my edges flat. In the morning, I take the satin scarf off and lay down my edges with Argan Gel.
