Healthy hair Ingredient | Infused Amla Oil To Reduce Dullness With Vitamin C

I loved Amla so much in my henna recipe! So I've decided to try Amla as an Infused Oil to give my hair a boost of vitamin C and giving promoting hair growth!

What is Amla?

Amla powder is a tan powder that has been used as a staple in traditional Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years.  It is made from drying Indian gooseberry, a small greenish yellow berry native to India.

Infused Amla Oil For Body And Shine

Amla Oil Recipe:

1/4 cup Amla Powder
1/2 cup Sweet Almond Oil
1/8 cup Castor Oil (or JBCO)
1/8 cup Vitamin E
5 drops Rosemary Essential Oil
5 drop Lavender Essential Oil

Coffee Filter
Measuring Cups/Spoons
Container For Mixture
Clean Satin Hair Tie

*I don't recommend using a rubber band to tie the coffee filter. We don't know what's on that rubber band!!


Add the amla powder to the coffee filter and secure with a hair tie.

Mix all the ingredients together in the container and place the secure coffee filter in the container.

Allow to infuse for 2 weeks before use

How do I use Amla Oil?

Massage And Condition
Section your hair in 4-6 parts. Dip your fingers in the oil to massage on your scalp. You should feel a coolin effect immediately. Allow the oil to sit for 30 minutes with a plastic cap or overnight. Rinse your hair the next morning and continue with your washing regimen. You will notice shine and softer hair!
