Throughout my entire healthy hair journey, I have not used a shampoo and conditioner of the same brand...I KNOW RIGHT?! That's absolutely...weird. I hardly use a shampoo, so I would purchase a cheap one to use rarely and put all my energy in purchasing conditioners and deep conditioning treatments of the same brand.
However...I went on vacation and forgot my shampoo and conditioner and saw the tiny bottle of Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo and Conditioner. Fate had me on this day...

My Experience:
Shampoo
I separated my hair (very oily from product buildup) into 4 twists. I used the shampoo on my scalp and massaged for 5 minutes. Then I rinsed the shampoo from my scalp with warm water, which ran down my 4 twists as well.

Conditioner
I added the conditioner to each section of my hair, while detangling. I allowed the conditioner to sit for 10 minutes, using the steam of the shower. I rinsed each section with warm water, then moved on to stretch my hair using bands and twists.

My Thoughts:
Shampoo
The Aroma
When you first open this bottle, your nose gets a very strong minty sensation. Your eyes may even begin to water a little bit. If you are sensitive to strong smells like peppermint or rosemary, this line may not be for you. For me, I absolutely loved this smell!
Refreshing Feeling
When I first added the shampoo to my scalp, it felt so cool and refreshing!
Very Clean
When I rinsed the shampoo out, my scalp had no flakes nor did my hair have product buildup. This is was definitely a great clarifying shampoo.
Not Moisturizing
With this shampoo being a great cleanser, it was definitely not great in the moisture department. When I tell you my hair was stripped, it was definitely stripped - product buildup and oils. I would have liked more of a moisturizing aspect of this shampoo, but it does what it's supposed to do.

Conditioner
Not As Moisturizing
After rinsing this conditioner out, my hair did feel moisturized...but not as much moisture as I would with other conditioners.

No Retained Moisture
And from the point above, the "supposed" moisture the conditioner was supposed to give did not retain in my hair. I usually stretch my hair right after conditioning. When my hair was done air-drying, my hair felt rough and stringy.

I DO RECOMMEND THE SHAMPOO FOR CLARIFYING...NOT THE CONDITIONER
