FreeTress GoGo Curl Crochet Braids |
This has definitely been a journey with the FreeTress GoGo Curl Crochet Braids ...Here are my weekly pictures of style.
I decided to do this style, because it was snowy and cold weather. So this was the perfect time to put my natural hair away.
When I was fully done with my crochet braids, I was pretty nervous on how this style was going to turn out, but this looked so good! I thought this was too big for me, but other people's sweet compliments proved me wrong. And this style is definitely easy to care for! Just a satin scarf at night and I use my mist/oil mixture in the morning on my braiding foundation. I also use the Aphogee Style when my hair needs more bounce.
I did do a good moisture/sealing treatment while massaging scalp, which felt so good! I did want to take my hair out because I really want a different style, but my foundation is still good. So I have to wait until this style "wears off."
This style does still look good, which I decided to do a little Purple Rain action (side-burn with curls in my face). To maintain my style this week, I cut my hair some more to give a little more volume. The frizz still remains as well. Instead of sleeping with a satin scarf, I'm now sleeping on my silk pillow case.
2). Easy to install and doesn't take a long time - This took me about 3 hours to do the braiding pattern and install the hair.
3). Easy to wrap at night - Just a satin bonnet or sleep on a satin pillow case.

Week 1
My hair has lost some of the volume from last week, but I'm experiencing more frizz. This makes my style look more natural.I did do a good moisture/sealing treatment while massaging scalp, which felt so good! I did want to take my hair out because I really want a different style, but my foundation is still good. So I have to wait until this style "wears off."
Week 2
I still want to change my style, but I decided to give my style one more week...but I'm definitely over these crochet braids and want to do something new.
What are the pros of FreeTress Bohemian?
1). Looks very natural - At first, the hair will look very uniformed with these curls. But after a week, there will be frizz that will make this style look very natural.2). Easy to install and doesn't take a long time - This took me about 3 hours to do the braiding pattern and install the hair.

3). Easy to wrap at night - Just a satin bonnet or sleep on a satin pillow case.
4). Easy to care for natural hair - This braiding pattern allows me to moisturize my hair strategically. I'm also able to continue my massaging habits.
5). Can 'wake, shake, and go' - If I'm running late, I had no worries about my hair!
6). No buildup on the crochet hair - I didn't use too much product on my hair. Using mousse on the crochet braids really gave my hair lots of bounce and movement. Less product is the key!
7). Loved the braiding pattern - This braiding pattern was simple to put in, simple to care for, and simple to take out.

What are the cons of FreeTress Bohemian?
1). The curls get caught - Just like any other synthetic hair, your curls will get caught on anything (especially earrings).
