Quarterly Natural Hair Advancement | Comparing September and December 2018 With ALL 2018 QNHA Length Checks

I decided to let you experience one of the things I do in my Hair Diary! Although I record my triumphs, failures, double failures, and awesome product reviews, I also do something called the "Quarterly Natural Hair Advancement (QNHA)." This entry reflects on the last 3 months comparing with the previous QNHA while giving a summary in one whole journal entry.

There are a lot of comparisons with lengths, regimens, goals, habits, and hair styles. I also include pictures to show that I have either improved or that I need to improve in a specific area. I started this back in June 2013 and I do the QNHA at the end of the months: March, June, September, and December. Yes, I am very intricate with my Hair Diary...but this helps me perfect my current regimen, helps me with future styling options, reminds me of my hair goals, and just fun to do!!!

NO MORE MIELLE ORGANICS! This absolutely hurts my heart. But I have to break up with Mielle and just in time for keeping the products for a year. Mielle did a few things that I don’t agree with:
1) changed their product name from Mielle Organics to just Mielle. So I’ve been researching like why did they change their name and did they tell the public? I couldn’t find any answers to that.

2) ingredients change from oils and berries to chemicals and silicones. I can’t with these ingredients. The natural ingredients is the reason why I wanted to go with Mielle in the first place. It was so interesting that I was looking for the Christmas bundle, but couldn’t find it. So I’ve really happy I didn't buy any more Mielle.

Then I saw this video:

Using up other odd-job products like Camille Rose and CURLS before using Mane Choice.

Other empties:
Curls Blueberry Bliss Control Jelly
ApHogee Intensive Two Minute Keratin Reconstructor
Define And Shine Target Beauty Box
-Camille Rose Aloe Whipped Gel Sample
-Camille Rose Almond Jai Sample
-TGIN Honey Masque Travel Size
Mielle Organics Moisturizing Avocado Hair Milk
Mielle Organics Pomegranate and Honey Leave In Conditioner
Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Hair Masque
Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner

I finally got my Mane Choice products! The original price is $98 which there was a price cut of $92. Welllll the price of the sale I only paid was $50 for 6 products and Mane Choice Heavenly Halo was the best choice for me. I agree with the ingredients (PLEASE DONT CHANGE!!!!) and I pretty much want to try all the lines, but I’ll start with the Soy Milk first. So the products I purchased are:
-Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Pre Poo
-Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Shampoo
-Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Conditioner
-Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Deep Conditioner
-Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Hydration Milk (Moisturizer)
-Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Oil
-Mane Choice Hair Clips (6)
-Trader Joe’s Spa Conditioner

My short-term goals from September 2018: massage 4/ weekly, 5/2 weekly protective styles, JBCO 3-5 times/weekly, retain 1.5 inch, henna treatment. I definitely massaged my scalp, especially my edges. HOWEVER, I did not do as many protective styles, I retained 0.8 inches, and I did not do a henna treatments.
My mid-term goals for July 2019: 3 henna treatments, have at least 1-3 YouTube Videos.
My yearly goal for December 2018:maintain the same regimen and products usage, attend 3-6 natural hair meetups/events/shows, and reach BSL (stretched) I definitely maintain the same regimen and products of Mielle Organics and I reached Bra Strap Length! I did not go to any natural hair meetups/events/shows during 2018.
My ultimate goal for December 2020: to reach BUTT CRACK length and HUGE volume
