Weave Tips | Safely Remove FreeTress Deep Twist Crochet Braids

Protective Style Series Vol 18 .1 | Freetress Crochet Braid DEEP TWIST 10 Inch

I've had it! It is time to take out my Freetress Crochet Braid DEEP TWIST 10 Inch, that I have had in for only 2 weeksSo here I am with the scissors ready to take out this hair!

So now the removal...this process took me 1 hour to remove!

1). Look at your crochet braids with that determined eyebrow, then part your hair in 4-6 sections that are easy for you to cut the hair.

2). Grab those scissors! Cut a little bit above the knot.

3). Once the length of the hair is cut, pull those knotted-suckers out. I like to grunt and growl when I pull them out...GRR! GAH!! UGH!!! YASSS!!!!

4). Now your crochet braids are out! Spray your braiding pattern with a water, oil, and conditioner mixture to lubricate and moisturize your hair. This will also create lots of slip when taking your braids out.

5). USE YOUR FINGERS ONLY!!! Start from the back and make your way to the front of your head for easier removal. Remember to BE GENTLE AND DELICATE! There will be TONS of shed hair. Be careful to not create matting and knots when taking out your braiding pattern.

6). Now that your braiding pattern is out, GO SHAWTY! IT'S YOUR TAKING-YOUR-CROCHET-BRAIDS-OUT-PARTAY!!!...whip your hair back and forth!

7). Detangle THOROUGHLY and continue on with your wash day regimen , with a protein treatment and deep conditioning.

Natural hair says: before you put in another long term style, keep your hair out for at least a week. This will help strengthen your strands back up and get the allotted moisture your hair needs.
