Check out this rubber band criss-cross style! I think this is so pretty and with the added jewelry and charms looks so beautiful. So I thought I give this a try with my Drawstring Puff! So here is my style for the week: Criss Cross Rubber Band Braids and Drawstring Afro Puff

Inspiration

This style was inspired by the pic above by Daya La Soul and the video from Black Hair Information. I was looking for a protective style that would protect my ends, but still be cute to wear for the week. Something definitely creative, yet simple style for the week.

Regimen And Products

I did my wash regimen and Bands N Twists Method (for heatless method for stretching my hair). I used Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Herbal Hair Tonic and Soy Milk Deep Hydration Softening Milk and The Mane Choice Doesn't Get Much "BUTTER" Than This Daily Hair Dressing. For my edges, I used Mane Choice Crystal Orchid Biotin Infused Styling Gel.

Criss Cross Rubber Band Braids and Drawstring Afro Puff 

I did the rubber band criss-cross twists on the top, then I flat twisted the back and sides of my hair. I put all of my twists and the rest of my hair in a twisted top bun, then secured the ends with bobby pins. Once my hair was completely done, I added my Drawstring Puff to my top bun.
