My Hair Diary | Quarantine (Day 60) And Thinking Of My Art Teacher Hair Styles

Have you been keeping up with your hair diary?! I know I have!

Journal It! App
From July 2011 - December 2019 I have kept my hair diary on an iPad app called: "My Wonderful Days," in which I could add pictures, videos, and of course my writing entries. All yearly hair diaries have been updated to my Google Books!

Since January 2020, I keep my hair diary on my Google Chromebook called: "Journal It! App" I can organize my hair diary by: Journeys, Activities, Tags, Categories, People, and Places. I can also add: habit tracker, mood tracker with detailed emotions, and notes/lists/to-dos to each of the entries. The best part is the PDF export, which I can continue to add my yearly hair diaries to my Google Books!

I will share my entry that I posted on May 12, 2020:

Beautiful Natural Sings...Quarantine (Day 60) And Thinking Of My Art Teacher Hair Styles

My Hair Diary | Art Teacher Hair Styles
Since the Quarantine has started (since March 15, 2020), I have not done my fun styles that I would do for Art Class. I absolutely love the creative and daring styles I would do with my natural hair.

There were times when I would add hair jewelry or locs string to my hair to give my styles more of a creative look.

My natural hair styles would even inspire me to be creative in the clothes I would wear to school. I loved to not only teach art, but to be a walking canvas to inspire my students.

For class, I wanted to make sure that I was always presentable but to make sure that I was artistic with my natural hair and with my clothes.

Then there were other times I would let my imagination go very artistic and full of excitement to wear fun costumes and colorful-wear for Art Class.

I absolutely loved the red costume above! This was pretty fun to put together for the class. Some even wanted to know how I made the skirt!

Then when Quarantine happened (March 15, 2020), I felt that I could be creative with my natural hair nor with my wardrobe. I saw myself as the "behind the scenes" Art Teacher.

But! Then, I started the "Follow Mrs. Pollard" Art Fridays episodes for my art student and was back to creating fun styles and wearing colorful outfits again! It is a weird time of social distancing now, but I am determined to have the same creative and artistic energy that I had while teaching the students at school!
